Dreamt of life as a bed of roses.
But what happened in reality?
Adjacent thorns scratched my body
Now I am afraid even to touch a rose.
Dreamt of sleeping on grassy bed
But what happened in reality?
Hidden snakes in the grass made me run
Now I am afraid even to think on grass.
Dreamt of pure world around me
But what happened in reality?
Jackals behind smiling masks frightened me
Now I am afraid even to think on world.
Now I am unable to sleep peacefully
Hard realities haunting me restlessly
O' Mother nature, take me into your lap
let me sleep forgetting thorns, snakes and jackals
In that peaceful sleep, let me enter a world
where I can make rain bow as my cradle,
where I tease my friends with funny riddles,
and where all my good dreams come true .
In that peaceful sleep, let me enter a world
where no thorns exist around roses,
snakes never harm and disturb my sleep
and humanity prevails everywhere.

Nice Poem and most people, I believe, wish the same.
Just an alernative view: unless one suffers, how can you know what happiness is? Without any real suffering, the "least happy" experince will equate to suffering.

A good poem. Roses wouldn't have been roses without thorns and life wouldn't have been life without worries and concerns yet your odd to the Mother Nature to bring a ggod sleep and a world free of concerns is a nice endeavour to boost us readers.
Best wishes,
KAtokatha
